At Zurich Airport, 50 cents per bottle of mineral water sold goes to a non-profit organization in the Dufry-operated duty freeshops. A check for 167.676 Swiss francs has now been presented to the Elenorenstiftung.

The “Charity Water” project was launched in 2014 as a joint project by Flughafen Zürich AG and Dufry. Since then, Zurich Duty Free mineral water has been sold in the duty free stores at Zurich Airport for a good cause. For every bottle of mineral water sold at the price of 2,50 Swiss francs that is obtained from the Adello spring in Adelboden, 50 cents is donated to a charitable organization. After Schweizer Berghilfe, Kinder-Spitex Kanton Zürich, Smiling Gecko and Pro Juventute, the Children's Hospital Zurich is the fifth organization to be supported in this way by Flughafen Zürich AG and Dufry.

The Children's Hospital Zurich was supported from mid-September 2019 to the end of May 2021. The Kispi is a non-profit private institution serving all children and young people. It is the largest university children's hospital in Switzerland and one of the leading centers for child and adolescent medicine in Europe. Its around 2300 dedicated employees are committed to the well-being of over 100.000 young patients each year from the first day of life to the age of 18.

The Sternschnuppe Children's Aid Foundation has been supported since June 2021. Since 1993, the Swiss non-profit organization has been bringing joy and variety into the lives of children and young people who live with illnesses or disabilities. It fulfills the heart's heartfelt desire of the child and gives the whole family varied excursions and carefree leisure activities.
