For some years now, airlines have been accustomed to paying extra for services that used to be included in the ticket price. For the providers, this is a considerable basket of money, which is increasing all the time.

A forecast by Cartrawler shows that the so-called ancillary revenues will increase to 102,8 billion US dollars. Compared to the previous year, this means growth of around 66 percent, but it is below the pre-crisis level. In 2019, airlines made about $110 billion in upsell. The figures given relate to the global industry.
