2022: Skopje Airport on track for two million passengers

A total of 198.850 passengers were counted at Skopje Airport last October. This represents a 6,8 percent decrease from the same month in the year before the 2019 pandemic.

Skopje Airport is on track to handle over two million passengers this year: the number of commercial flight movements fell by 2,4 percent to 1.454. In the first ten months of the year, Skopje Airport handled exactly 1.824.309 passengers, which corresponds to a decrease of 9,3 percent compared to the previous year (-187.060 passengers spoken in absolute terms). North Macedonian citizens were not even allowed to enter most European countries in the first quarter of the year due to Covid restrictions, as Ex-Yu-Aviation notes. The number of commercial flight movements fell by 2,4 percent to 1.454.
