27 percent of Austrians want to spend Easter holidays

According to a recent survey carried out by Mindtake on behalf of the Austrian Hotel Association, three out of four Austrians want to spend their Easter holidays in Austria. However, only 27 percent of those surveyed actually want to go on a trip.

According to the results of a quick survey across Austria, the industry is satisfied with the booking situation, but there are still a few rooms available: "Anyone who still wants to book will find very attractive offers in top locations in all federal states," says ÖHV General Secretary Markus Gratzer 21 percent of Austrians who have not yet decided whether they want to spend Easter week in their own four walls or go on vacation. The top 3 holiday destinations are Styria, Carinthia and Upper Austria.
