The corona crisis has put Austrian Airlines in its place. Recently, the flag carrier had to take measures to reduce costs in order to get through the pandemic reasonably well. Now there is another one: AUA will rent four floors of the office complex at the airport in the future.
The spokeswoman reveals to the news portal today also how things should continue in the future: “In future, Austrian Airlines will reduce the existing office space in the main building from eight to four floors. We are working on returning the work space that is not required to our home owner, Vienna Airport, as soon as possible. ”There is currently no precise schedule for implementation. The pandemic has accelerated the development of flexible forms of work in many companies, including at the Lufthansa subsidiary. "Our main building is currently largely empty and the administrative staff work almost exclusively from their home office."
