There are changes in the Board of Directors of Edelweiss Air AG.

Dieter Vranckx will succeed Thomas Klühr as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Markus Binkert has been appointed as a new member and succeeds Josef Felder. With Dieter Vranckx, an experienced airline manager takes over the office of Chairman of the Board of Directors. The 47-year-old has been working in various management positions in the airline industry since 1998 - including as CEO of the sister company Swiss. Markus Binkert has been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors. He has worked in various management positions for Swiss and the Lufthansa Group since 2005 and has been Swiss Chief Financial Officer since 2020. "I am delighted to be able to strengthen the Edelweiss Board of Directors together with Markus Binkert in order to optimally align the airline for the future," said Dieter Vranckx, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Edelweiss. The two new members took over their functions on January 1, 2021.
