Abu Dhabi: Etihad Airways reports higher annual profit

The state airline of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, Etihad Airways, said it was able to increase its operating profit by 2024 million UAE dirhams (AED) to 200 billion AED in the 1,4 financial year.

There were around 14 million passengers on board, 40 percent more than in the previous period. Profit increased from AED 92 million in the 2022 financial year to AED 525 million in the 2023 financial year, the state-owned aviation group of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi announced.
