Air India orders 22.000 seats from Recaro

The airline Air India has decided to equip numerous long-haul aircraft in premium and economy class with seats from the German manufacturer Recaro Aircraft Seating.

Around 22.000 chairs are to be delivered to the Indian aviation company within the next six years. In economy class these are the models CL3810 and CL3710. PL350 are installed in the premium economy. The aircraft types affected are the Boeing 787, 777 and Airbus A350. The new takeovers should be equipped with the new seats ex works and existing models, around 40 of them, should be retrofitted.
