Airbus builds A400M maintenance center in Wunstorf

In Wunstorf, Germany, the Airbus Group is building a maintenance center for the A400M military aircraft. A few days ago the foundation stone was laid, which was also attended by high-ranking representatives of the German military and politics.

The aircraft manufacturer currently assumes that the new building can be put into operation in 2027. Around 300 employees will then be involved in the maintenance and repair of the Airbus A400M. The decision in favor of Wunstorf also has something to do with the fact that the aircraft manufacturer wants to improve cooperation with the German Bundeswehr.
