The International Tourism Exchange ITB, one of the world's largest tourism trade fairs, will take place in Berlin from March 5th to 7th. For the second time, Austrian Leading Sights, as a representative of Austria's leading attractions, is present at the trade fair.

The success of the association's first trade fair appearance is clearly reflected in the large number of exhibitors for the ITB 2024: 24 sights will represent Austria at the international tourism trade fair - twice the number compared to 2023. "It fills us with pride that we are already at We will have such a strong presence at the ITB for our second trade fair appearance!”, comments the association’s managing director, Patrick Quatember, on the numerous registrations. “Our members and partners represent Austria’s cultural heritage, natural wonders and innovative cultural offerings. We are thrilled to be able to share these treasures with an international audience.”

“The Austrian cultural sites are crowd pullers for guests from all over the world: our internationally known top sights are flagships for cultural diversity and illustrate the uniqueness of Austria. The cultural offering is also becoming increasingly important for booking decisions. “The strong presence of the Austrian Leading Sights at the Austria stand is all the more important,” said Tourism State Secretary Susanne Kraus-Winkler.

The association is particularly pleased about the collaboration with Österreichwerbung, the national tourism organization. In 2024, Austrian Leading Sights will be represented in an area within the 750 sqm Austria Advertising exhibition stand. The managing director of Österreich Werbe, Astrid Steharnig Staudinger, has a positive opinion about the cooperation: “We are pleased about the collaboration with Austrian Leading Sights and their great commitment to promoting Austrian tourism. The diversity of our attractions makes Austria a unique travel destination and we are proud to present this at ITB 2024.”
