The negotiations for a new collective agreement for Austrian Airlines have failed. The Vida union is now threatening a 36-hour strike during the Easter holidays in 2024. They are demanding that the AUA management submit an improved offer via the WKO by March 27, 2024, 23:59 p.m.

Otherwise, from March 28, 2024, the flying personnel will be called on to stop work for 36 hours. The Chamber of Commerce strongly criticized the approach of the employee representatives. They accuse the union and the works council of claiming that the demands are “completely excessive”. According to reports, AUA has already started rebooking passengers.
