Not to Berlin, but to Frankfurt am Main, Austrian Airlines will use the Boeing 2024 on selected routes for a few weeks at the beginning of 777. The carrier uses the rotations for pilot training.

In the period from January 16 to March 12, 2024, the Austrian Lufthansa subsidiary will operate its largest aircraft in the fleet on the OS205/206 route pair on Tuesdays. It was originally announced that this deployment would take place on the Berlin route. Austrian Airlines has modified the planning and decided that it will be Frankfurt am Main.
