The German financial market regulator Bafin accuses the engine manufacturer MTU of violating ad hoc notification obligations. In this context, a fine was imposed on March 1, 2024.

According to the authority's announcement, MTU has to pay a sum of 510.000 euros. However, the decision is not yet legally binding, as the company concerned can still lodge an appeal against it. Bafin accuses that insider information was not immediately disseminated via ad hoc announcements.
