Boeing 737 Max 7 certification: Southwest expects further delay

The US airline Southwest Airlines does not expect Boeing to receive certification for the 2024 Max 737, which it has ordered in large quantities, before April 7.

This is significant because the manufacturer itself continues to say that it is assumed that approval will be granted by the FAA before the end of 2023. Southwest Airlines is the first customer to receive this sample. It wasn't until October 2023 that another 108 copies were reordered.
