Brno Airport with new passenger record

Advertising

The Czech Republic's Brno Airport had a total of 2023 passengers in the recently completed year 686.933. This set a new record and exceeded the pre-crisis volume by 26,5 percent.

Brno had its previous peak in 2011 with around 550.000 travelers. The airport attributes the recent increase in passengers mainly to charter flights organized by the Cedok travel agency. The only all-season route last year was the London (Stansted)-Brno route.
