Brothers fight on Ryanair flight to Tenerife

On February 19, 2024, a fight broke out between two brothers and a lady on Ryanair flight FR2969 from Edinburgh to Tenerife. The troublemakers were arrested immediately after landing at the Spanish airport.

The Boeing 737-800 with the registration EI-EVV was on its way from the Scottish capital to the Canary Islands. At first it was an unremarkable flight before two brothers clashed violently, headbutting each other and spitting. Among other things, it was about the fact that a woman had previously misbehaved.

According to claims from other passengers, the disturbing lady behaved like this for around two hours. Despite repeated requests, the crew did not intervene. Ultimately the situation escalated. An eyewitness filmed the incident and posted it on YouTube.
