Brussels A330 damaged by apron truck in Abidjan

On December 7, 2023, the Airbus A330-300 with registration OO-SFG operated by Brussels Airlines was damaged at Abidjan Airport.

The long-haul aircraft was adversely impacted by an apron vehicle that is used to lift people with limited mobility onto the plane. Both the truck and the Brussels machine suffered significant material damage. The result of the damage is that the planned return flight to the Belgian capital had to be canceled.
