Comac wants to increase C919 production rate

The Chinese aircraft manufacturer intends to invest in production facilities in order to increase the production rate of the C919.

Vice-president Zhang Yujin told the state-run newspaper “The Paper” that several billion Chinese yuan would be taken into hand. The investment is to be made within the next five years and will result in the annual production rate increasing significantly. He assumes a constant production rate for the current year.
