The Corendon Group does not want to grow significantly in the coming year. After a botched expansion, the company was on the back burner in 2023. It should stay that way because we want to concentrate on city destinations in the future.

Managing director Yildiray Karaer told Touristik Aktuell that the capacity offered in summer 2023 was around 40 percent lower than a year earlier. Back then, they expanded like hell and were left with empty seats on many routes, but had to deal with high wet lease costs.

The group wants to operate around 2024 machines in the summer of 38. This means that no significant growth is planned. In the future, we want to go to more city destinations that we want to gradually develop into year-round destinations.
