The government of Cuba has announced that prices for gasoline, diesel and LPG will be significantly increased starting in March 2024. There is talk of price increases of over 400 percent.

Households and businesses that use a particularly large amount of electricity will also be asked to pay more in the future. It can be assumed that the higher energy costs will be passed on to tourists. Therefore, some tour operators expect that hotel purchasing prices will soon rise.
