On behalf of the Austrian Hotel Association, the market research institute Mindtake asked around 1.000 Austrians where they spent their Easter holidays. 28 percent said they would ice.

Veit has good news for the almost 20% who still don't know whether they want to use the holidays for a vacation: There are still free rooms in all federal states and destinations. Styria is again by far the most popular region; 3 out of 10 holidaymakers in Austria spend their days off in the green heart of the country between wine, hiking and culinary delights. The federal capital with its Easter markets and unique cultural offerings is also very popular. In third place in the ranking is Carinthia, which impresses with its numerous active offerings.

The ÖHV and the opinion research institute Mindtake regularly survey a representative selection of 1.000 Austrians about their vacation plans before school holidays.
