Dortmund Airport assumes that it will have around 2024 passengers during the upcoming Easter holidays in 140.000.

In addition to a variety of year-round destinations, holiday travelers can also choose from well-known warm water destinations such as Alicante and Catania. The popular holiday regions of Palma de Mallorca and Antalya are particularly frequently served. Thanks to Ryanair and Eurowings flights, flights to the Spanish Mediterranean island travel up to four times a day, while SunExpress flies to the Turkish Riviera six times a week. Classics like London or Rome are always worth a trip and are ideal for a short Easter trip.

For travelers who like to discover new things, Dortmund Airport has numerous lesser-known but equally fascinating travel destinations on offer, such as Ohrid. Located on the picturesque Lake Ohrid of the same name, the region in North Macedonia is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The former cultural capital Timișoara in western Romania is also worth seeing. Both destinations can be reached several times a week via the Wizz Air route network from Dortmund.
