The airport operator Vinci Airports has announced that it wants to take over the majority of Edinburgh Airport. For 50,01 percent you put around 1,27 billion pounds sterling on the table.

Subject to regulatory approvals, the transaction is expected to close in summer 2024. The previous sole owner, Global Infrastructure Partners, says it will remain on board with a 49,99 percent minority stake. Vinci has been gaining ground in the UK for several years, already owning a majority stake in Gatwick and Belfast airports.
