February 2024: Vienna Airport with 1.875.075 travelers

In February 2024, Vienna Airport, together with its subsidiaries in Luqa and Kosice, had 2.380.095 passengers. In a direct comparison to the same month last year, the group was able to increase by 18,3 percent.

Vienna Airport received 1.875.075 passengers, 16,8 percent more than in the previous year. The additional leap day on February 29, 2024 compared to the previous year also contributed to passenger growth.

At the Vienna location, the number of local passengers increased to 2023 (+1.499.010%) and the number of transfer passengers to 15,8 travelers (+370.020%) compared to February 20,9. Flight movements increased to 14.551 takeoffs and landings (+12,5%). Freight volume increased by 2023% to 19,7 tons compared to February 21.142.

In February 2024, passenger traffic at Vienna Airport to Western Europe increased to 632.086 passengers (+19,3% compared to the previous year). A total of 2024 passengers (+139.608%) traveled to Eastern Europe in February 12,5. The airport recorded 18.863 travelers (+12,0%) to North America and 27.596 (+15,3%) to Africa. A total of 2024 (+70.548%) passengers traveled to the Near and Middle East in February 0,0 and 38.908 passengers (+29,2%) traveled to the Far East. Passenger traffic at Malta Airport increased to 2024 travelers in February 474.404 (+25,1%). At Kosice Airport, the number of passengers increased to 30.616 travelers (+7,2%)
