Flixbus has also been active in India since February 6, 2024. At the start, 46 cities will be connected and around 200 bus trips will be offered per day.

This means that the expansion of Flix SE, which originally started in domestic German traffic, continues. A long time ago, Greyhound was taken over in the USA and the market leader at the time was bought up in Turkey. In Europe, we now have a dominant market position in the area of long-distance bus journeys and the former top dog Eurolines is only active on the back burner.

In India, Flixbus will offer trips from Delhi, Ayodhya, Lucknow, Dehradun, Manali and Jodhpur, among others. However, the operational implementation is not carried out independently, but according to the company, five subcontractors from Delhi have been hired for this purpose. It is state number 43 in the Flix network.
