Germany: Airlines demand postponement of fee increase

The airlines Lufthansa, Condor, Eurowings, Tuifly and Lufthansa Cargo, through the industry association BDF, are demanding that the German federal government postpone the intended increase in the upper limit for security fees until at least the end of 2024.

If the government's current plans go, it will happen in February 2024 an increase from ten to 15 euros.
