Ground staff: Verdi threatens Lufthansa with a strike

On Tuesday, January 23, 2024, negotiations between the Verdi union and Lufthansa regarding the collective agreement for ground staff will continue. The employee representatives are already increasing the pressure in advance and are no longer ruling out calls for strikes.

According to a statement from Verdi, the first round of negotiations ended last week without an offer from the employer. This annoys trade unionists because they are of the opinion that a quick solution must be found for the employees. The employee representatives also explain that possible industrial action, including strikes, can no longer be ruled out.
