Due to the ongoing strike by the ground staff of the Spanish airline Iberia, the carrier has to cancel a further 8 flights up to and including January 2024, 444. According to the provider's statement, around 45.600 travelers are affected.

The company told TV broadcaster RTVE that they had found alternative travel options for around 90 percent of affected passengers. Some canceled their travel plans and requested a refund of the ticket price. Negotiations with the unions had previously failed, so they called for a strike.
