Hamburg Airport sees a great future for aircraft whose engines are powered by hydrogen. You prepare for that.

According to the operating company, they want to create the necessary infrastructure. It is currently assumed that the first series-ready machines for short and medium-haul routes could be available before 2040. By 2050, it is predicted that around 60 percent of all flights from Hamburg in this segment could have hydrogen in their tanks.
