The last holiday weekend will be dominated by return travel. Transit traffic will be delayed, especially coming from Hungary before the Nickelsdorf border towards Austria and towards Germany before the Suben and Walserberg border crossings.

On the route Nickelsdorf (A4) - Schwechat (S1) - Vösendorf (A21) - Steinhäusl (A1) - Linz (A25) and A8 in the direction of Suben or from Fügen (A9) to Graz and Linz and further towards Germany, in the event of an accident or Defective vehicles can be expected to quickly form traffic jams. Epiphany jumping in Bischofshofen

According to the ÖAMTC, the last competition of the Four Hills Tournament in Bischofshofen on January 6th will also be a visitor magnet.
