India: Star Air leases two more Embraer 175s

Shortly before the end of 2022, the airline Star Air secured two more Embraer E175 regional jets. These will be obtained through the leasing company Nordic Aviation Capital.

It was already announced in the first half of 2022 that the Indian carrier had decided to lease two aircraft of this type. These will also be leased from NAC. Five Embraer 145s are currently in operation. These have a lower seating capacity than the announced newcomers.

These are not new builds, but used aircraft. For example, the first E175 to join Star Air will be today's OY-YEF. This machine was formerly used by Belavia.
