Jetsmart has launched a Colombia branch

A new low-cost airline launched in Colombia last week under the name Jetsmart Colombia. The start-up belongs to the Jetsmart group and has only recently received an AOC and operating license from the local authorities.

Shortly after the collapse of its competitor Viva Colombia, Jetsmart announced that it would set up a local branch in Colombia. This is the group's fourth flight operation to have its own certificates. The first aircraft is an Airbus A320neo, which carries the registration CC-AWZ.
