Lower Austria: Two Danube roller ferries in winter break

In Lower Austria, two Danube ferries have stopped operating for seasonal reasons. These are the ones that connect Klosterneuburg with Korneuburg and the ones between Weißenkirchen and St. Lorenz.

According to the ÖAMTC, the Spitz – Arnsdorf ferry should be in operation all year round. Travelers have to be prepared for longer journeys due to the winter break of the above-mentioned rolling ferries. As a rule, a bridge should be available within 15 minutes.
