Lufthansa Cargo is modernizing in Frankfurt am Main

A new high-bay warehouse has been under construction in Cargo City North at Frankfurt am Main Airport since August 2023. This will mainly be used by Lufthansa Cargo.

The freight crane is planning a lot more, because according to the announcement they want to invest around 500 million euros in modernization. Older buildings and warehouses should either be modernized and adapted or replaced with new buildings. The time frame of the project is given as “until 2030”.
