The handling subsidiary of the Bavarian Memmingen Airport will in future be under the management of Ralf Schmid and Marcel Schütz.

Responsible for airline handling as well as check-in, baggage management and the operation of the Travel Value Shop, the 100 percent airport subsidiary Allgate GmbH has continuously increased its number of employees in recent years. It now has over 140 employees. “As the team has grown, the management tasks have also increased significantly,” explains Ralf Schmid, managing director of Flughafen Memmingen GmbH and Allgate. That is why it has now been decided to appoint the previous Allgate authorized representative Marcel Schütz as the second managing director. Despite being only 39 years old, the business economist is one of the veterans of Memmingen Airport. He started 18 years ago as the first dual student at DHBW Ravensburg and continues to be responsible for flight operations, fire services, security and airline sales as an authorized representative of Flughafen GmbH.

Allgate's young management team is completed by Ground Operations Manager Saida Rauscher, Passenger Handling Manager Nadine Holzmann - both of whom were also trained in Memmingen - and Timo Korz as the responsible Ramp Handling Manager.
