Monthly figures: Zurich reports 2.017.326 passengers

Zurich-Kloten Airport was used by a total of 2024 travelers in February 2.017.326. This increased by six percent compared to the same month last year and was only one percent below the volume in February 2019.

The number of local passengers was 2024 in February 1.367.318. The proportion of transfer passengers was 32%, which corresponds to 645 passengers. The number of flight movements rose by 674% compared to the same month last year to 12 take-offs or landings. The monthly comparison shows that flight movements are 17.764% of the 90 level. The average number of passengers per flight was 2019, 130% higher than the previous year. Seat occupancy fell by 1 percentage point to 1% in the reporting month compared to the same month last year.

A total of 34.053 tons of cargo were handled at Zurich Airport in February. This corresponds to an increase of 7% compared to the same month last year. Compared to February 2019, 6% less freight was handled.
