Negotiations over a collective agreement at German Airways continue to stall

Despite numerous attempts in recent months to collectively regulate the working and remuneration conditions of pilots at German Airways, management continues to consistently refuse this request, claims the VC.

Marcel Gröls, head of collective bargaining at the Cockpit Association, expressed concern about German Airways' attitude: "We cannot understand why German Airways is not prepared to regulate and thus improve the conditions of pilots through a collective agreement that is reliable for the employer as well, and would rather accept that the resulting fluctuation in the workforce remains above average." Gröls stressed the urgency of abandoning the refusal and fulfilling the employees' wish for collective bargaining.

The Cockpit Association advocates for the interests of pilots and strives for constructive negotiations in order to achieve appropriate improvements. The union appeals that the management of German Airways must now decide whether to continue waiving a collective agreement or to seek dialogue with the pilots.
