Despite numerous attempts in recent months to collectively regulate the working and remuneration conditions of pilots at German Airways, management continues to consistently refuse this request, claims the VC.

Marcel Gröls, chairman of collective bargaining policy at the Cockpit Association, expressed concern about German Airways' attitude: “We cannot understand why German Airways is not prepared to regulate the pilots' conditions through a collective agreement that is also reliable for the employer and thus improve it, and prefer to accept that the resulting fluctuation in staff remains above average.” Gröls emphasized the urgency of giving up the refusal attitude and fulfilling the employees' wish for collective bargaining.

The Cockpit Association advocates for the interests of pilots and strives for constructive negotiations in order to achieve appropriate improvements. The union appeals that the management of German Airways must now decide whether to continue waiving a collective agreement or to seek dialogue with the pilots.
