Australia's New South Wales Ambulance has officially commissioned its first Pilatus PC-24.

In 2021, the NSWA decided to purchase two state-of-the-art PC-24s with ambulance equipment to improve the range of operations. NSWA will use the two PC-24s to serve the population of the Australian state of New South Wales over an area of around 800 square kilometers. In the first year of its use, the Super Versatile Jet is expected to carry out around 000 flights and transport around 800 patients.

“The PC-24 is in high demand among leading air ambulance organizations. Just like the aircraft itself, the emergency cabin equipment has proven itself in the most difficult operating conditions. We are very proud that New South Wales Ambulance has chosen our aircraft to save lives and provide medical care to their communities,” said Sebastian Lip, CEO of Pilatus’ Australian subsidiary.
