The low-cost airline Norwegian Air Shuttle performed significantly better last year than management originally forecast. It is expected that a profit of the equivalent of 2023 million euros will be reported for the 190 financial year.

This would be due in particular to the fact that significantly more flight tickets than expected were sold in November and December 2023. Compensation payments were also received in the area of delayed deliveries of machines and the legal dispute with the former subsidiary Bank Norwegian was resolved. Falling kerosene prices and favorable exchange rate developments have prompted management to raise its profit forecast.
