November 2023: Zurich with 2.045.158 passengers

In November 2023, Zurich-Kloten Airport was used by 2.045.158 travelers. Compared to the same month last year, Switzerland's largest airport was able to increase by 14 percent. However, the volume was eight percent below the pre-crisis level. 

655.912 passengers transferred, which corresponds to a transfer share of 32 percent. According to Flughafen Zürich AG, the number of local passengers was 1.385-298 travelers. There were seven percent more flight movements year-on-year. The airport counted 18.242 takeoffs or landings. On average, there were 128 passengers on board - an increase of four percent. The load factor fell by one percentage point to 76 percent.  

A total of 34.291 tons of cargo were handled at Zurich Airport in November. This corresponds to a decrease of four percent compared to the same month last year. Compared to November 2019, 12 percent less freight was handled.
