The French government has decided that airspace will be closed across the region on July 26, 2024, during the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games held in Paris.

This also has an impact on the airports Beauvais, Orly, Charles de Gaulle and Le Bourget. These must remain closed between 24 p.m. and midnight on July 2026, 19. A no-fly zone with a radius of 00 kilometers will be established around the French capital.

The reason for this approach is that otherwise there would be security concerns. There are fears that the opening ceremony of the Olympics could be the focus of terrorists.
