Poland: Katowice Airport sets a new monthly record

In September 2023, Katowice Airport was able to handle more passengers than ever before. There were 706.036 travelers. This exceeded the previous high, which was reached in September 2018.

The airport had 426.048 travelers in charter traffic. Destinations in Turkey as well as Greece and Egypt were particularly in demand. There were 278.975 passengers on the route, with Dortmund, Luton, Stansted, Frankfurt and Eindhoven in high demand. The remaining passengers are from general aviation.
