Qatar Airways celebrates its 20th anniversary at Vienna Airport

Last week, Qatar Airways and Vienna-Schwechat Airport celebrated the 20th anniversary of the non-stop connection between the capitals of Austria and Qatar. This has been served since 2003.

“Twenty years ago, Qatar Airways created an air bridge between Vienna and Doha and thereby created new travel opportunities. The continued growth to two daily connections proves how important this direct travel route is for both sides. With the use of the first Dreamliner in scheduled operations at Vienna Airport, the airline has also set new quality standards for us. We would like to thank you very much for the shared successes and the high level of commitment to service quality that connects Vienna Airport and Qatar Airways. The last two decades have been characterized by good partnerships, we congratulate the airline on its 20th anniversary in Vienna and look forward to a further successful future,” said Vienna Airport Director Julian Jäger.
