Vienna-Schwechat Airport is frequently served by Qatar Airways with Airbus A320 medium-haul jets from Doha. That will change on June 1, 2024, because from this date onwards you will only want to fly with widebodies on this route.

According to the golf carrier, both Airbus A350 and Boeing 787 will be used. The second daily circulation will continue to be served with Airbus A2024s until the end of May 320. As of June 1, 2024, these are to be replaced by Wodebodies of the Airbus A350 type. The other pair of courses will continue to be served by Dreamliners. According to Qatar Airways, the change will result in an increase in capacity by 35 percent.
