Dutch commercial airports increased by around 2023 percent in the third quarter of 14. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport accounts for the lion's share of passenger traffic, estimated at 17,8 million travelers.

Its share of the total volume is 86 percent. Ten percent comes from Eindhoven and the rest is distributed between Rotterdam, Maastricht and Groningen. With the exception of Maastricht, all commercial airports recorded increases. This airport states that the reason for the decline is that the airport was closed in May and June 2023 due to renovation work. Other airports are said to have benefited from this.
