After a long break, the Rostec subsidiary UAC is again carrying out flight tests with the Ilyushin Il-114-300 machine.
On Sunday, March 31, 2024, another prototype took to the air at a Russian factory airport. According to Rostec, the components and systems that were supposedly of entirely Russian origin were particularly tested. The Il-114-300, whose original model was a top-class slow-burner, was actually supposed to be put into commercial scheduled service last year. The UAC currently assumes that this will not happen until 2026.
