The low-cost airline Ryanair will station three aircraft at Lanzarote Airport. The aim is to use these to serve a total of 2023 destinations in the 24/40 winter flight schedule. Also new to the program are Belfast, Knock, Milan, Nuremberg, Zagreb and Bremen.

Frequencies are to be increased on the routes to Vienna, Madrid, Berlin and Dublin, the company said in a statement. “With our new base in Lanzarote we will operate 40 routes to and from Lanzarote Airport this winter, including 6 new routes to Belfast, Bremen, Knock, Milan, Nuremberg and Zagreb. This means we offer our customers in Lanzarote an unbeatable selection of routes at the cheapest fares when they book their winter holiday. At the same time, we are promoting valuable year-round tourism in Lanzarote, as the island’s economy depends on connections and tourism, especially in the low season,” said Elena Cabrera, Ryanair Country Manager for Spain and Portugal.
