Ryanair rejects Frankfurt/Main

Some time ago, the low-cost airline Ryanair loudly withdrew from Frankfurt am Main Airport withdrawn and the locally maintained base closed. Company boss Eddie Wilson does not see any prospect of a quick return with the opening of Terminal 3.

In an interview with the “Frankfurter Rundschau” he gives various reasons for this. What should be important, however, is that Germany should currently be “at the very bottom” of the list of priorities. This is said to be due, among other things, to high costs and the political anti-aviation sentiment. In Frankfurt-Hahn, however, Wilson can imagine a gentle expansion of the offering.
