This year, the Leoganger mountain railways will also be in operation throughout the entire autumn period until the start of the ski season. The Epic Bikepark Leogang is keeping its trails and lines open until November 5th.
Saalfelden Leogang is entering the second half of the year with an extraordinary offer for bikers and hikers. The bike operation in the Epic Bikepark Leogang runs until November 5th. The Asitzbahn transports bikes and bikers until October 22nd, before the Steinbergbahn takes over daily operations one day later. For hikers, the Leoganger mountain railways even run until the start of ski operations, making it easier to access a true hiking paradise that extends around the Leoganger Asitz. Mountain lovers can switch from their hiking boots to skis almost seamlessly and get their money's worth in the golden autumn.
There is also something new waiting for all bikers this autumn: The AlteSchmiede Trail, which opened during the BIKE Festival in mid-September and will be accessible until mid-October, is another sustainably built single trail that supports the extensive infrastructure in the Pinzgauer Bike -Mecca expanded. A route of 3,35 kilometers offers flowing turns, north shores and easy technical passages. As you drive through natural forest passages, wonderful views of the imposing Leoganger Steinberge massif open up again and again.
Of course, food is also part of the perfect mountain experience: managed huts, inns and mountain restaurants invite you to linger and enjoy. With six award-winning restaurants, which have been awarded a total of 14 toques, there is something for every taste in the Saalfelden Leogang region. In addition to physical well-being, relaxation should not be neglected either: the innovative and cozy wellness hotels in the region offer classic wellness treatments, massages and modern spa facilities.
