Singapore Airlines will begin phasing out the Boeing 737-800 this year. This process is expected to be completed by early 2026.

We currently have six copies in our own operation. These are to be gradually replaced by the successor model Boeing 737-Max-8. The carrier currently has 16 of the latter type in its fleet. According to a statement from Singapore Airlines, the phasing out of the Boeing 737-800 will begin in September 2024. These will be returned to the lessors when the respective leasing contract expires.
